Welcome to LYA TUTORS, where tailored tutoring leads to academic success. I am a qualified and experienced teacher who specialises in preparing students for the 7+, 11+ and 13+ entrance exams (ISEB, Independent, CAT4, London Consortium,...). I cover all subjects (English, maths, VR, NVR, creative writing,...). I also provide interview preparation and mock interviews.My students have gained admission to prestigious schools like Westminster, St. Paul's, Eton, Hampton, Emanuel, Harrodian, King Edward VI, Kings, Epsom, Putney High, Francis Holland and Highgate.

ABOUT ME

I became a qualified teacher in 2019 and have been teaching and tutoring ever since. I hold a BA and two MA's. I have taught at state, private, national and international schools and worked with a big diversity of students.I have a QTS, a fully enhanced DBS and a safeguarding certificate, ensuring a safe and professional environment for all my students.

APPROACH

I provide personalised one-on-one online lessons. My goal is to help students grow their confidence, unlock their full academic potential and get them accepted into their dream schools!What sets me apart is the personalised and individual approach I give each student. Whether you want all-round prep or focus on a particular subject/topic, I will create a flexible and personalised study plan to make sure we reach our goals. Work between lessons can also be set, if desired. We will assess and adapt our study plan as we go. Parents or guardians are kept up to date on their child's progress after every lesson.I excel in engaging students. I will learn how your child learns best and get them to where they want to be in an enjoyable and constructive way.

PLANS

Booking lessons with LYA TUTORS is extremely flexible.I provide long-term prep, short-term prep and everything in-between. Some students start weekly 11+ prep lessons in Year 1, others just want a few occasional lessons before the big exam.
